The distinctive sound & style of lead guitarist Russ Paul is an infused combination of Country, Sultry Blues, Rock and deep down Southern Rock which carries on a Family Tradition being the Nephew of Legendary “TEX WILLIAMS” - Capitol Records Country Recording Artist which is best known for his talking blues style. His biggest hit “Smoke! Smoke! Smoke! (That Cigarette),” held number one on Billboard charts for six weeks in 1947. Tex became Capitol Records first million seller and can also be heard during the opening scenes of the 2005 movie, Thank You For Smoking.  Russ Paul has performed on the same stage as artists including Jo Dee Messina, Terri Clark, Ted Nugent and of course his Uncle Tex. With Russ Paul’s heart felt influences from his uncle Tex; Russ Paul’s passion for playing guitar blurs the line between Country, Blues, Rock and Southern Rock. He has slated a road of bringing new light to the blues - rock world, while enlightening old and new fans alike.
